Removable Media

Howdy,
I recently upgraded from Fedora Core 4 to 5, and I hadn't noticed before
upgrading that the support for removable devices drastically changed.
(Support for removable media has evidently gone into the desktop
evvironment (gnome/kde)).

Most of the references from googling fedora core 5, refer to gnome
solutions for automounting removable media.  How does one do it in KDE?
