Sorry about the daft question (I've been trying to avoid it for a week 
now ;-)): how do I know whether it's cached IMAP or not?

It might sound silly, but I got so used to the feature - it's my last 
stumbling block for switching to KMail from Thunderbird (which I'd really 
like to ditch).
