unable to build fuse_kio

If this isn't the right place to post this, could someone please tell me
where would be the right place?

I followed the build instructions for fuse_kio at:
  http://kde.ground.cz/tiki-index.php?page=KIO+Fuse+Gateway

Partway down the page it says:

./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`
make
cd fuse_kio
make

The first three commands work fine, but when I go to do the second "make",
