[kde-freebsd] Problems Starting KDE (3.5.3 on FreeBSD 6.1)

Inexplicably, I now _can_ startx using other users. I don't have any
explanation for this, since before they would _definitely_ hang at
startup. Also, when I use startx to start KDE, I get all that output on
the tty like I described earlier, but if I activate kdm they go away. I
don't know whether kdm fixes or just masks them.
