Printing to pdf

Hi
Of late I have had problems printing web pages to a pdf. Has always worked in
the past. The file is created but can't be opened. I get the following error
message:

Abnormal process termination (gs -q -dSAFER -dPARANOIDSAFER -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH
-sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=$out{/home/john/Desktop/Fish Info/knots1.pdf}
-sPAPERSIZE=letter -c .setpdfwrite -f '/tmp/kde-john/kdeprint_ZZ45nPom' ).

I thought it might be down to the paper size being set to a4, this message was
generated when it was set to letter. Same result apart from letter replacing
a4. How do I fix this?

Oddly if I do print to the printer everything comes out fine. Don't want hard
copies though.

Also note that knoq won't load and save the images on many web pages.
