debian:~# uname -a
Linux debian 2.6.14-2-686 #1 Wed Dec 28 18:21:03 UTC 2005 i686 GNU/Linux
(testing / unstable)

#dpkg -i <package name>
#aptitude install <package name>
#apt-get install <package name>

these are the commands i use to install new packages.
in each case i get the error that i provide in first mail.

i'll uninstall qt and reinstall it, and check if still get same error or
not,
