Cannot run program from CD-Rom in media:/

Is this a bug ? If you insert a CD containing an executable file, and then
browse to the disk using the media:/ ioslave in kde 3.5, and double click the
file - the system asks you what to open it with - not allowing it to be run.

Is there no way for media to pass the mountpoint path to the shell and RUN a
program ?

Browsing to the mountpoint itself in konqueror and clicking the file runs

Is this a bug, wishlist or misconfiguration ?

P.S. this is using fstab integration NOT hal/dbus/pmount/ivman.
