Upgraded to 3.4: few problems

Another note related to the missing devices in Konqueror. They are missing 
from other users as well. My main user doesn't even have the relevant entry 
in the sidebar anymore, but root does. When I tried accessing it as root, I 
got an error-message saying "Protocol not supported devices"
