Changing the default helper applications

Hello

Can anyone either tell me how or point me towards the relevant
documentation.  I want to change the default applications that are
opened when you click on ether a pdf file or a ps file in konqueror.  I
know it is something to do with mime types but I can't work out how to
change the default applications.

I am running Scientific Linux 4 (a rebuild of Redhat Enterprise 4) and
the version  of KDE is -

[root at d29 config]# rpm -qa |grep kdebase
kdebase-3.3.1-5.5
kdebase-devel-3.3.1-5.5
[root at d29 config]#
