.qt directory

Hi

I use SuSE9.1 with KDE3.2 and use NIS client and mount my home directory
via NFS.
It's work but some times I can't login, I type my username and password,
but it remains in Initializing peripherals.

I checked the /var/log/messages but didn't find error.

If I close the session and erase ~user/.qt/ directory and try again,
it's work.

How can I do for doesn't happen again?
