KDE does not startup

Not sure if my experience with kde not starting as an user ( myself in 
this case ) will help but I rebooted as another user and then :

# su

# cd /home/<your_user_name>/

# rm .ICEauthority

And the I rebooted and logged in as myself again. The .ICEauthority file 
gets remade.

I have just had to re-customize all of my kde including re-establishing 
app links I have made in the past.

So before you try this see if you can login as a different user first.

Er.... I am right now going to copy .ICEauthority to my backup directory 
so as to avoid re-customizing should this happen again.

NOTE: I fixed things without having to do a re-install of Mandrake10.0 
Official. Try that in Windows!
