Print to PDF/Postscript failed

Hallo,

printing files to pdf or postscript fails, but why?
The Error displayed is 'Fehler bei Drucken: Konvertierung zu PostScript 
fehlgeschlagen'. ('Error while printing, could not convert to PostScript' 
does that mean...)
I use Debian/Sarge with KDE 3.3.2 and KGhostview 0.20. Printing-System is 
cups, with printer / cupsd running on another computer.
