=>Sorry for being clueless, but I just downloaded the 3ddeskfx package and I
=>like it a lot. The part I don't understand is how to use the shortcuts
=>files that come with it for KDE. I'm using the kde-3.4.2 and I'd like to
=>hook it up. Can you tell me what I should do with the shortcut files?
=>
=>TIA

Let me try this again. One of the files that comes with 3ddeskfx is called

'Random 3D-Desktop Generator (Mode)'

and its content sez:

524 > cat 'Random 3D-Desktop Generator (Mode)'
[Desktop Entry]
Comment[en_US]=
Encoding=UTF-8
Exec=3ddeskfx mode
Icon=khelpcenter
MimeType=
Name[en_US]=Random 3D-Desktop Generator (Mode)
Path=
ServiceTypes=
SwallowExec=
SwallowTitle=
Terminal=false
TerminalOptions=
Type=Application
X-KDE-SubstituteUID=false
X-KDE-Username=
525 >

I am hoping that by placing this file in the right place I will end up
with the desired shortcut. Can someone please tell me where I should copy
this file to?
