Image db software

Hi,

I'm about to organize 5Gigas of fotos I have on a number of folders on disk.
I'll create some albums, tag with a few locations and persons. Will almost
certainly need to export to html.

I've narrowed the software for the job to KimDaBa and DigiKam. Has anyone ever
used one or the other? Which one is better for the job in your opinion?
