composite and kde..

hi

i use suse 9.3 (kde 3.4.2)

i have in my xorg.conf file

Section "Extensions"
        Option "Composite" "Enable"
    EndSection

and

Option     "RenderAccel" "true"
    

i use a nvidia video card and an ati video card.....

how to know if kde use composite extension...

are there a way to use have translucency?
