konqueror behavior

Neither does IE. There is no DNS entry for kvirc.net, so if your browser meets
Internet standards, it should not just assume that you meant something
different from what you typed. Many web sites have a DNS entry that redirects
domain.com to www.domain.com, but kvirc isn't one of them.
