Downloads in Konqueror

Hi
I'm having problems with downloads in Konqueror. They often are not spotted 
and are loaded as a web page. I'm running suse 9 and suspect that this may 
have something to do with a suse update. I can't download anything where I 
have to click on a download link. Any patches/updates ? I have run though the 
drop don menu's lots of times but can't find anything that explains the 
problem.
