I screwed up my kde menu..plz help

Did I miss something here?  What is the "Menu Updating Tool".

Remove all files in the directorys:

	$HOME/.local/share/applications
	$HOME/.local/share/desktop-directories
	$HOME/.config/menus

and restart KDE.
