KDE 3.2.0 K menu clipped on the right

My K menu is clipped on the right. It's not always by the same amount 
sometimes the small arrows for the submenus are still partly visible 
sometimes they are gone entirely.

Only the K menu is showing this all other menus work just fine. Weird.

Note: I am running Qt 3.3 which does not seem fully supported yet -- so 
this may be the problem.
