Spamfiltering in KMail questions

Is the anti-spam filter run before or after my own filters, it's not clear from the wizard?

Anyway spamassassin found its first spam today as opposed to the other 150 that my old 
manual kmail filters found. (No, I've not personally configured spamassassin yet so that
might be the explanation).
