missing session tab

Upgrading from 3.2.2 to 3.2.3...
first)
The problem i have now is that on the kde login manager GUI i lost a tab
called "session" and instead i have a tab called "shutdown". 

This is the tab that is responsible to configure the avaliable session on
the drop down menu on the login screen.
How can i make it appear again?
How can i configure the sessions menu in a different way? 

second)
when i select from the login screen "console login" nothing i expected 
happens.
the kde stop and goes to a console that i can't login, and after sometime
it restarts kde
