KDE 3.3: Odd menu characters

I see. Thanks. That fixed it. However, every time I login into the old
3.3, the ~/.qt directory becomes incompatible with the new 3.3. I
also notice that my fonts in the new 3.3 are rather washed out,
eventhough they are the same settings as the new 3.3
