3.2.1 Slackware packages: which configure options? unmodified src?

I am using the KDE 3.2.1 packages for Slackware 9.1 - which work like a charm.
Now I'd like to recompile kwin with a patch (dropshadow). 

Was unmodified source code used? What ./configure-options have been used? 
What compiler options? Against which libs?
