It's a drop-down list that appears automatically as you type?!

It uses the Recent addresses list, so there won't be much in there initially.

There's always the universal ... button that other clients use as well to 
indicate a method of retrieving the details from an address book.

Ctrl-T does nothing in my KMail1.5 - in Konqueror it opens a console window in 
the current directory so it's not one of the shortcuts that KMail needs to 
make available!!

Select drop-down list from the right-click menu (it's the default so 
presumably something must have happened to change it.)
