kdict databases bug

I'm using kdict that comes with kde3.1.3 and im a mandrake 9.1 user
I downloaded other dictionaries to use with kdict from dict.org and they dont 
appear in the kdict databases
I'm going to put here what are the dictionaries i have in dir /usr/share/dict/

the databases that appear in kdict, are:

devils, easton, elements, foldec, gazetteer, hitchcock, jargon, vera, web1913, 
wn, world02

why arent the other databases appearing in the kdict?
how can i fix it?
