Disable Control-V behavior?

Thanks for the reply.

I do not have a Klipper icon.  I tossed it a long time ago trying to fix
this very problem.  And there is no "klipper" process running.

(BTW, I started klipper and verified that it's "Enable Actions" is unchecked.)
