Well, you could create a filter that matches your email address in to or 
CC and out it to the bottom of the filter list.
As its only action use the execute command and have it play a sound.

All other mails will have been filtered out by filters further up in the 
list, so all things matched by the last filter are the mails remaining in 
you inbox.
