Karamba & libDCOP

Hi, I want to use Karamba, but can't because every single time I run the 
program, I get the following error:

"karamba: error while loading shared libraries: /opt/kde/lib/libDCOP.so.4: 
undefined symbol: static_QUType_varptr"

I am using KDE 3.1.0, and I have compiled it myself. KDE and all the 
applications that have come with it run fine, but yet this library just 
dosen't work for Karamba for some reason. Could someone please help me find 
the problem? Thanks!
