Pointer themes and flicker

Hello,

I'm using X 4.3, KDE 3.1, on Linux, with a nvidia based card (GeForce2 MX.) 
Every mouse pointer theme that I have tried has the same issue: 

When I drag/move a window, the pointer flickers.

This seems to be a bug/issue/feature of KDE since it doesn't happen in 
fluxbox.

Does anyone have any similar experience with this?
