Sorry folks but this saga continues for me.
As I am running Mandrake9 (2.4.19-16mdk) on a i686
I installed the following package thus:
#rpm -Uvh
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/PLD/current/dists/ra/PLD/i686/PLD/RPMS/kde-theme-keramik-1-2.1.i686.rpm
And having installed it before and attempting to uninstalled it using:-
Configuration>Packaging>Kpackage (Buttons on the bottom don't work by the way)
I eventually get:-
[root at localhost root]# rpm -Uvh
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/PLD/current/dists/ra/PLD/i686/PLD/RPMS/kde-theme-keramik-1-2.1.i686.rpm
Retrieving
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/PLD/current/dists/ra/PLD/i686/PLD/RPMS/kde-theme-keramik-1-2.1.i686.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
package kde-theme-keramik-1-2.1 is already installed
It seems that I have all the proper dependencies insatlled (I had to do some
the first time round) and it appears they went well..
But for the life of me I cannot get to it?
It certainly has not come up within the Control Centre GUI ( Control Center >
LookNFeel > Style || Theme Manager || Window Decoration )
and issuing:-
#Keramik gets "Command not found"
Issuing slocate -il 0 "keramik" gets the following (edited out docs and pngs )
[root at localhost root]# slocate -il 0 "keramik"
/home/frank/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/keramik[2].desktop
/home/frank/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/keramik.desktop
/home/frank/.kde/share/thumbnails/da75/793a/65b5b1ff43134858514b8ff0/60/kde-theme-keramik-1-2.1.i386.html
/home/frank/.kde/share/thumbnails/da75/793a/65b5b1ff43134858514b8ff0/60/kde-theme-keramik-1-2.1.i686.html
/usr/share/apps/kstyle/themes/keramik.themerc
/usr/X11R6/lib/kde3/plugins/styles/keramik.la
/usr/X11R6/lib/kde3/plugins/styles/keramik.so
/usr/X11R6/lib/kde3/kwin_keramik_config.la
/usr/X11R6/lib/kde3/kwin_keramik.la
/usr/X11R6/lib/kde3/kwin_keramik.so
/usr/X11R6/lib/kde3/kwin_keramik_config.so
/usr/X11R6/share/apps/kwin/keramik.desktop
To me this seems that keramik is there but I lack how to either link things
correctly or in using the relocate option I have no idea which is OLDPATH nor
NEWPATH
Someone able to knodge me into keramik bliss?
PS By the way, is < #rpm -e keramik > the correct removal option
