RH8 likes to change a bit the KDE menu ...

Maybe the original KDE menu is somewhere on your disk. Look for these files : 
korganiser.desktop, kaddressbook.desktop, kpilot.desktop. Once you find them, 
you should copy them in the directory of your RH8 KDE menu (I don't know 
where, on Mandrake it is /usr/share/applnk-mdk for the default files for all 
the users and ~/.kde/share/applnk-mdk for the current user).
