Linking against native QT (no X11??)

If you saw the mention on slashdot, it has been done, but the patches to 
make it possible have not yet been sent upstream to KDE CVS.  Your best 
bet is to wait a few weeks for Qt to actually release the GPL'd version 
of Qt/Mac and then we'll be working on cleaning up the patches and such. 
  The original port was done 3 or 4 months ago, so there's some work to 
do still.
