more arts issues: flash audio delay

for the longest time i just thought that flash in linux sucked. but as it
turns out, it works just fine in windowmaker and ion... but in kde, the
audio is about a full second behind. and this is the case in both mozilla
and konqueror.

playing with the response time in control centre offers very little help.
moving it to the left does nothing to keep the audio in sync, and moving it
to the right freezes the flash movie and hangs konqueror.

since it works in other window managers, my best guess is that the culprit is
arts, but i have no idea how to remedy this issue. what kind of performance
are the rest of you getting with flash?

i'm using gentoo, so essentially, you can consider kde as compiled from
source.
