single click - where to configure ?

Hi,

I tried to find this in the list but there were only discussons why
people changed KDE to double click.

I'd like to have KDE configured in the old fashioned way that it opens a
window in a single click (sort of web browse style). Can somebody tell
me where I can confiugure this ? I use KDE 3.1RC6 on a Linux
architecture (Mandrake PPC 9.1 cooker).
