.kderc

What is the $HOME/.kderc file used for? I just installed Kylix and found the 
IDE had tiny fonts. Someone on another list advised me to delete .kderc from 
my home directory, which I did. Problem solved.

But... What problems get created by deleting this file? Surely it's there for 
a reason? That said, I haven't missed it yet... :o)
