javascript only partially works (3.1.0)

James,
Yes the page loads fine here, but clicking most of the buttons does
nothing. As you say though, all the site I have had problems with have
been using https. According to java.sun.com, j2re 1.4 on includes JSSE.
I have tried 1.4.0 and 1.4.1_02. How do I verify I have JSSE installed?
