Hallo Ingo Klöcker,

yes I tried to open the files from Konqueror (like file manager);
the files are associated with external editor and I can't see
the "bad" characters (è à ect) in the file name.

I hope this information is useful to you!

How do you try to open them? By clicking on them in Konqueror? Do you
see the ù, etc. in the file names?

Those files were probably saved with a Windows specific encoding. Try to
open them with the 'cp 1252' encoding.
