Thanks to Day, Boark and a few others, I finally realized that "setting up a 
filter" did not mean writing a Perl or Bash script filter but a simple Kmail 
filter.  This really works well.  I'm impressed.  It gives me enough info to 
bounce them at the ISP (Prodigy and I suspect other servers permit me to 
produce a bounce list).
