Filename spaces

I just clicked on a M$ doc attachment in Kmail and it
brought up Abiword showing the attached doc Ok but a
few things looked a bit screwy so I thought I'd try
out Kword instead... but Kword would not open the tmp
files with spaces in their names.

Is there somewhere I can add "" around some value to
prevent this problem ?

I'm using KDE 3.1beta and koffice 1.2-rc1.
