is there any way to change the size (width) of TASKBAR ? not PANEL

First, I note that this appears to have been fixed in 3.1.  There is no 
right edge to the taskbar.

However, with your configuration, IIRC, the taskbar should expand when 
it gets full and use the remaining space to the left.
