And in KMail 1.5 it's in KMail -> Settings -> Configure KMail ->
Security -> OpenPGP -> Automatically sign messages using OpenPGP.
Of course you also have to define the OpenPGP key which should be used
for signing in KMail -> Settings -> Configure KMail -> Identities ->
Advanced -> OpenPGP Key.
