I should also mention that Red Hat has started using a different
location for the fonts: "/usr/share/fonts/"
And, if you add new directories for fonts (or even if you don't) make
sure that the directories for TrueType and Type 1 fonts are listed in
your: "XFtConfig" file. It should be in: "/etc/X11/" along with:
"XF86Config".
I assume that you have Anti-Aliasing turned on since it is the default.
