Hi,

you'll need at least kdelibs and parts of kdenetwork (libkdenetwork, mimelib 
and kmail).

It's KMail 1.4. It has something called POP filters allowing you to filter 
mail directly on POP server.

My advice would be to update whole KDE to 3.0 or wait few days/weeks for 
KDE 3.0.1 which will have many bugfixes.
