Did you save the settings after you resized konsole? If you haven't 
saved the settings then konsole doesn't remember it's size.

Yes. But resizing and saving the settings solves this problem.

All screensavers (except blank and random) have been moved to the 
kdeartwork package to reduce the size of the kdebase package.
