SuSE 8.0 - KOnCD problem

Hi, 

in the setup window of KOnCD the "reader" and "writer" are set to my ZIP-100 USB, when I try to change them to CD-RW (for both read & write.) it gives me an error message with "SIGNAL 11" ("SIGSEGV")

Also, if I unplug my usb ZIP, clicking on "setup" blocks the application.

where's the bug?
