kioslave nfs

how come whenever i browse the lan (rlan:/ and lan://localhost) i cant see the 
nfs shares of the nfs servers.  all i can see is the smb and fish protocols 
but no nfs.  what seems to be the problem? btw.. im using kde-3.1rc5.
