KDE under user account

I have a problem with running KDE under normal user account. All application 
start up very slowly. When run in konsole they just don't print anything for 
about 2 seconds and then run just fine. When I use 'su' under user account 
the same thing happens. If I use 'su <user_account>' everything is okay. What 
can be the reason of this behaviour?
