Quickmenu Icons not displayed

When I define a quickmenu and add applications to it, their icons show up when 
viewed via the filemanager but not in the actual quickmenu.

The icons all have 16x16, 22x22 and 32x32 versions, so that isn't the issue.

Anyone know what the cause could be?
