Printing in Kword

G'day,

I have Kword installed as part of Mandrake 8.1.

When I try to print from Kword nothing happens.  The trial print from
the printer during the installation was excellent.  The printer is an
Okipage 4w.  When I try a print preview the page is ditorted
vertically.

There is nothing in the Cups file in Foomatic.

I am by no means an expert in Linux or KDE so please make any
instructions fool proof (I can supply the fool!)
