spa in knode and kmail

ok SPA is M$'s secure password authentication crap. the samba team
came up with code ( and released it also) that enables you to connect
to those servers. is there any way to make knode and kmail to use the
stuff. Pan has already implemented the stuff and is suposedly able to
connect to those kinds of servers but since i was not able to find my
way arround the darn program i was not able to test and see. the main
reason why i want to be able to do this is because i am stuck with MSN
as my ISP and they use SPA for their smtp and nntps servers...
